Falls.
At the head of the Linville
Gorge is Linville Falls which is actually two falls: Upper
Falls (50 feet) and Lower Falls
(60 feet). A well maintained allows a long climb to both lower and upper falls. The climb
is strenuous but the rewards are great. There are benches along the
way to take a break.

Deep beneath Humpback
Mountain, nature has sculpted a masterpiece in stone carved by
many centuries of slowly moving ground water. The result is an
incredible series of rooms, passages and spectacular

Mountain.

Carolina, Grandfather Mountain is operated as a
scenic travel attraction and is one of the
world's most environmentally diverse nature
preserves. The Mile-high Swinging Bridge,
