William Jamesome. Bill’s
passion for history and nature allow him to create introspective
landscapes embodying the full range of local color and timeless contrasts,
whether
the setting captures the brilliant, warm colors heralding the arrival of
fall in the North Carolina mountains or the rich Tuscan countryside dotted
with cool blue/green olive fields in bloom among the red-earth shades of
freshly upturned soil. Rejecting the term “scene” in reference to
these works, Bill defines his landscapes as “explorations.”

Beverly Bowden Pickard. The
creative process that inspires me is an eagerness to make connections and
express these
connections with paint - a passion for what I see and an urgency to
respond. I am primarily an oil painter and describe my style as
"painterly realism." Beverly

Jim Carson. Once you
see the true colors in reality, painting from any other source does not inspire
the same emotion. To be outside and be so focused on your work is a
meditation experience that is difficult to describe." Visit

Jem Littell. Three
distinctive characterisics define his work. First, his paintings are
always done in pastels. Second, they
are always done on location (plein air). Third, they capture "moving
colors and shadows" as the bright sunlight from the scene unfolds
during the day. Jem
