Q. Can you use photos or information from my website?
A. Yes, but some quality may be lost in the photo(s) - we will let you know if we think you need to send originals

Q. How long does my ad run?
A. Most ads continue from the date payment is made for ONE YEAR. The exception, of course, the SIX MONTH Real Estate Banner AD. We may also do some individual negotiating.

Q. What payment options do you have? Online payment with any major credit card may be made through our own processor, Authorize.net, or Google Checkout or PayPal. They are all secure and we have been "verified" with each. You may also pay by personal or company check. Paying by check may prevent your ad from being seen online until the check has cleared. Renewing advertisers will be immediate. If you would like to pay with a credit card but not enter the information online we can take the credit card information by phone or FAX.

Q. What if I want to upgrade from a Standard AD to a Banner AD?
A. You may "upgrade" at any time AND if you do it within your first 30 days we will refund your previous payment.

Q. How do you promote your site?
A. We do a variety of things. Since we are "Florida's Carolina Connection" much of our promotion is directly to ALL areas of Florida through 1000s of emails, print advertising and other promotions. We are also doing Google and other online advertising as well as SEO and search rankings, directory listings and linking strategies. We have been Blogging in several different formats and have achieved good rankings for all of them. Our Special Promotions, new in 2010, provide additional exposure through searches and email blasts.  All of our advertisers are featured on one of more of our Blogs on a regular basis with a direct link back to their site.

Q. What is included in the "Lodging" category?
A. Vacation Rentals, Condos, Cabins, Bed&Breakfasts, LodgesCampgrounds, RV Parks, Camping. The SINGLE UNIT ad means just that - ONE home, ONE condo. MULTI_UNIT  includes all lodging with more than one unit ,  B&BS, LODGES, INNS, PROPERTY MANAGERS, CAMPGROUNDS.

Q. What is included in the "Real Estate for Sale" category?
A. All licensed real estate agents, brokers or real estate companies with real estate for sale. All developers, builders or new construction. Real Estate for Sale by Owner.

Q. What is included in the "Other Businesses"?
A. Restaurants, Attractions and Entertainment, Merchants and Services, Stables, Boat Rentals and Adventures, Guided Hikes and Outfitters, Stables, Golf Courses and ALL FOR PROFIT NON-Lodging or REAL ESTATE  BUSINESSES.

Q. What do you charge for Artists and Local Galleries, Conservation and Non-profit  Organizations?
A. NOTHING. NADA. ZIP. We believe that the NC artists and the galleries which exhibit and sell their work are a natural resource, just as the mountains themselves are. We also understand how difficult it is for the Arts in today's economy and how much they contribute to attracting tourists, which benefits us all. We also support the effort to retain the natural state of our beloved mountains and believe that people, business and tourism can co-exist  peacefully  with conservation and protections supported and enforced. Nonprofits are provided as much free space as possible because our rates are so low we don't have enough profit to be able to make the amount of donations we would like to make.
